Oh, the dreaded About page.
What should even go here anyway?
I tell my clients all the time that the About page should really be called the “Why Me?” page, because no one came here hoping to read my dissertation, childhood biography, or a chronological account of how I became a designer.
That said, we’re about to spend a few months together.
You’ve already seen plenty of my work throughout this website. So instead, I hope this page gives you a little insight into the team behind the screen and reassures you that while building a brand and website is a beast of a project, with the right people, there’s absolutely no reason it can’t also be fun.
so hi! I'm amanda

The best brands have a life outside of work.
Mine certainly does!
You’ll find that many pieces of my brand have very little to do with web design, and more to do with values and priorities that translate to the value points my clients love most about working with ADP.
AS A MOM AND THE BREADWINNER OF MY FAMILY, I DON’T HAVE MUCH APPETITE FOR UNNECESSARY COMPLEXITY.
I value clarity, transparency, and systems that make life easier. You’ll always know what comes next, what something costs, and why I’m recommending it. I’m not interested in elaborate marketing funnels or convincing you that your business needs something it doesn’t. I don’t have the capacity for that kind of noise in my own life, and I certainly don’t want to create it in yours.
I'm Also a Firm Believer that Serious Work Still Has Room to Be Fun!
I’m an open-water swimmer, a perpetual hobby collector, and at my best when I’m curious enough to explore something new, and that sense of adventure comes to work with me. Your brand and website are significant investments that deserve to be taken seriously, but curiosity, experimentation, and fun are more than welcome to ride in the passenger seat.
These pieces of my life aren’t my brand, but they’ve certainly shaped the way I built it.
And when we work together, I’ll be looking just as closely at the experiences, values, priorities, and perspectives that give yours its depth.
